Beverly – did you see our post on how to make a saw horse? Did you have additional questions? As for the cow, maybe you could shorten the neck on our horse, cut a piece of wood about 12 – 14” long and another about 8-10” in the shape of a half circle. Place the rectangle block horizontal (to represent the wide part of the face) and add the half circle to the bottom to make the fat part of the face/nose. You could then embellish it with pink ears, etc. And of course a little black and white paint could bring it all together.

Just a quick idea. We would love to see anything you come up with! Good luck!
