We girls love our butterflies and done correctly they can be both whimsy, like our “butterflies” custom invitation and decor, and elegant, like our “blossoms” custom invitation and decor. In honor of both styles, I went in search of the perfect cakes.

I really love these first two. Both are super simple and come with step-by-step instructions. Yep, you got it. The first one from BrightIdeas.com is M&Ms! All I can say is yum! The second, from BettyCrocker.com, is very smart. I love the use of the candy stick for the body and the jelly bean embellishments.

The first thing that comes to mind for this second group from NickyGrant.com is… stunning. I really like the simplicity of these. You’ll need a steady hand with fondant, but the butterflies could easily be pulled off with a food safe version of floral wire and cloth butterflies from the craft store. Just beautiful and perfect with our “blossoms” invitation for a baby shower, bridal shower, or big girl birthday {wink}.
