real parties: nesting sip & see

  swanky-sweets_nesting-sip-see

I just love the idea of a Sip & See (this one from Swank  Sweets). As a first time mom I was way too nervous for such a thing (germs and all… you ladies remember the terror inflicted on us by our OBs), even with my closest girlfriends, but I would have been all for it with my second child (after three weeks or so).

And this idea is truly adorable. I love that she used twig balls, instead of tissue paper pom poms, moss and burlap, all natural elements that a mommy bird would use to build her nest. Very smart and quite lovely! Make sure you hope over to the Swank Sweets blog to see all the beautiful details!
