Super excited to share that I’m starting a DIY craft video series! I’ve been wanting to do it forever and now I’m finally taking the plunge. Oh, and I’m learning here so please be kind. {sheepish grin}
So today I teamed up with Sew Jewell to bring you a video tutorial on how to make a Halloween ghost pillow. Super easy craft and mine has been a plush toy for my boys, a throw pillow for my front porch bench and even hung as Halloween decor.
To make your own Halloween ghost plush pillow you’ll need:
- 1/2 yard white fabric
- 1/2 yard quilting batting
- Pillow stuffing (how much depends on how fat you want him)
- Black fabric (for the face)
- WonderUnder or similar iron on adhesive (available at your local craft store)
- Sewing machine, or be willing to hand stitch
Watch our video craft tutorial for all the how to steps:
And here’s what he looks like with his ghostly tail.
Thanks for watching and as always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake, create and celebrate! Happy Halloween!!

Such a fun idea Kim! And I love how you tell moms to let them stuff the ghost so the kiddos know what’s inside. :)
Tracey – Sew Jewell felt it important to tell the moms that since some might find it a tad scary. :) So glad you like it!
Those eyes! And good luck with your series. The little ghost is so cute! :)
Thanks Kris! I’m sure it will take a while to learn the vlogging ropes, but it should be fun.
