pin it to win it ~ Anorak Magazine

Anorak Magazine

I’m thrilled to be teaming up with Gibbs Smith Books and Anorak magazine, a London based kids magazine with the perfect tagline, “The Happy Magazine for Kids.” As a mom that loves the conveniences of today, but sometimes longs for the simplicity of yesterday, this magazine rings home for me.

Founder, Cathy Olmedillas, describes her love of vintage books and annuals in a recent post on Gibbs Smith new blog, Red Barn, as the inspiration for her magazine. If you love vintage, you simply must hop over and read how she was inspired to launch her magazine. She even shares some of her favorite vintage authors and illustrations. It’s just lovely!

Anorak Magazine Kids

My boys recently got to spend some time with Anorak. It’s so vibrant and creative, packed full of ideas, stories, word puzzles, coloring pages and a even a few crafts. This is a magazine to be written in, read, and yes… dare I say it, even cut out of. Your kids will love it!

So here’s how you can win a 4-issue subscription of this new kids classic for you and a friend ($90 value):

  • Follow Gibbs Smith Books’ Blog, Red Barn on Pinterest
  • Follow Anorak Magazine on Pinterest
  • Pin the feature image in this post using the hashtag #AnorakMagazine (It’s all in the Rafflecopter widget below, but here’s a sample summary for you to use on your pin if you like: Love vintage kid books? Although the magazine has a totally vintage feel it is also totally modern which I love. My family loves the graphics, the colors and the stories. I’m so glad it is easier to find now!
