Easter Egg Hunt

It’s time to talk Easter egg hunts! As you all know, I live in Ohio, but grew up in Alabama. Right now in Alabama the flowers are blooming and the weather is in the 60s and 70s… right now in Ohio… not so much. It’s cold… like 20s and 30s. Needless to say, I’m ready for spring. And ready for some lovely images to help inspire me for my own Easter egg hunt this year. And praying for warm weather and no snow… it’s hard to find eggs in the snow. {smirk}.

These are a few ideas I rounded up from around the web:

  • Crafty Carrot Sign from Lisa Storms for Fiskars ~ love how simple and adorable this carrot paper craft is.
  • Peeking Easter Bunny Cookies from Meaghan of The Decorated Cookie ~ these just made me giggle, plus Meaghan shares how all the DIY!
  • Dyed Eggs from Family Circle ~ I love to decorate eggs for Easter with my boys, but there is something to be said for simple bright colors.
  • Easter Egg Hunt Games with Martha Stewart ~ plan more than just the egg hunt
  • Easter Bunny Cake with free 3-D party templates from The Celebration Shoppe
  • Easter Hunt Baskets and Party Sign from Sweet Scarlet

Thanks for all the great Easter ideas! Love the carrot garland. That would be a fun craft idea for the kiddos to try. One thing our family does every year to live up our Easter egg hunt is to hide a special golden egg (somewhere extra challenging, of course!) Whoever finds this egg gets 5 dollar coins, and bragging rights for the whole year!
