easy spider cello bags + FREE Halloween favor tags

Spider Cello Favor Bags & FREE Halloween Favor Tags | TheCelebrationShoppe.com

Halloween favors don’t have to be expensive, but they can be fun! Here’s how you make a super simple spider cello favor bag for your spooky bash! {say that three times fast!}

Plus, embellish it with my FREE orange and black spider Halloween favor tags! Guests will be giddy when you thank them for “dropping by!”

For this easy Halloween craft you’ll need:

  • Pretzel size cello bags
  • Black craft paint (mine was Martha Stewart brand)
  • Silver Sharpie
  • Marshmallows (or other goodie)
  • Orange ribbon
  • The Celebration Shoppe’s FREE printable Halloween favor tags (Note: The fonts might look odd on the scribd.com preview, but they’ll be perfect once you download!)

Quick steps:

  1. Pipe some black paint onto a flat surface.
  2. Press your thumb into the paint (this could be a lot of fun for your kiddos!) and press to the center of the cello. This will be your spider’s body.
  3. Allow the paint to dry for 5-7 minutes (dry to touch).
  4. Draw on your spider legs with a silver Sharpie. Spiders have eight legs and I chose to make them look segmented. A bit creepier that way. {grin}
  5. Fill with treats, tie with ribbon, adorn with my FREE Halloween favor tags and waalaa. Lovely and inexpensive Halloween party favor!
