Cherry Pie Fries With Cherry Filling Dipping Sauce

Love pie? Want a fun way to serve pie?! Hand pies are darling of oh so easy. Now think smaller. What about pie fries?! Mmm! These will be perfect for Memorial Day celebrations. {grin}

Cherry Pie Fries

Don’t you just love how cute they are? The talented Andrea Correale of Elegant Affairs Caterers is sharing the simple recipe with us today!

Ingredients:

  • Pie Crust Dough
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees; line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or foil and grease with Pam.
  2. Slice dough into strips about 1/2 an inch wide and 2 inches long.
  3. Arrange fries onto the cookie sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar
  4. Bake for 15 minutes.

Serve with cherry pie filling and in small fruit baskets to complete the look. I’ve seen these baskets at farmer’s markets, the grocery store and World Market.
