FREE Valentine cello toppers

The Super Bowl is over and our FREE Valentine cellos are up just in time for you to package goodies for your kiddos classroom parties late this week and early next! Choose from owls, dinosaurs, ladybugs and robots AND all four designs can be personalized with your child’s name right in the file before you print.

If you use them we’d love to see a pic of your beautiful kiddos taking them to school or what goodies you chose to package inside them (4″ wide cello bags from your local craft store work best).

FREE Super Bowl party printables

Hosting a Super Bowl party this year?! Download my wrappers and mini pennant banners, updated from my original Snackpicks.com article, for the two winning teams: NY Giants and New England Patriots. I confirmed that the Giants will be wearing their away white jerseys (white chevron wrappers) and the Patriots will wear their blue jerseys (blue chevron wrappers). You can use them all, or just your favorite team. The set also includes a 11×17 football field mat and a 11×17 green grass chevron mat (great for a backdrop for your stadium).

UPDATE for 2013 Colors ~ Baltimore vs. 49ers ~ templates can be downloaded now! And see more Super Bowl party ideas including bacon and chocolate popcorn. {grin}

Crafting the printables is simple. I recommend card stock for the wrappers and pennants, but you can use regular printer paper if you like. Secure the wrapper loosely around a cupcake liner with double sided tape or hot glue and fill the wrappers with snacks. For the pennants, wrap the diamonds around a toothpick and secure with an Elmer’s glue stick.

Next, grab a wire spice rack for your stadium and set up your fans! I chose Cheez-It crackers for my snacks and I picked up my wire rack at Target!

For your convenience, I’ve combined all five sheets into one pdf. When you print, be aware that you’ll want to print sheets one and two, the mats, on 11×17 paper, and sheets three through five, the wrappers and pennants, on 8.5×11 paper.

And as a friendly reminder, these are copyright protected and for personal use only. They may not be sold or distributed. We ask that anyone wishing to use our freebies come here to download them.

And if you do get a chance to use them, we’d love to see your display! You can share them on our facebook page or shoot us an e-mail at customercare@celebrationshoppe.com. Enjoy!

10,000 facebook fans = freebies

We’re 10 “likes” or so away from 10,000 facebook fans and all I have to say is THANK YOU!

Thank you so very much for reading my blog, following my designs, chatting with me on twitter (@celebshoppe), checking out what I pin on Pinterest, liking the shoppe on facebook and most recently following my picture posts on Instagram (@thecelebrationshoppe).

You guys get me up in the morning excited about what I’m going to share for the day and I just want you to know how much I appreciate you!

Last year I gave away dinosaur and owl Valentine cello toppers and many of you have asked for them again this year. So I updated them a bit, adding the ability for you to personalize them before printing. AND I added a few more designs to the mix: ladybugs and robots! (These designs are all part of larger collections that you can see in the shoppe.)

Click here to download all four designs! Open the file, personalize them in the design font right inside the pdf (the basic Adobe Reader will do) and then print. It’s that easy! And I would also love it if you would share my free printables with your friends and family!

By the way, the toppers work best with 4″ cello bags. I personally buy the mini cellos (at JoAnns Fabric and Craft Stores) and fill them with tiny toys and candies as you can see in my post from last year, but you can also buy the taller ones for pencils and things.

ENJOY! And if you feel like leaving a comment, I love them and read them all. It’s so much better than just seeing a number in the analytics to tell me you were here! {wink}

By the way, these work best with 4″ wide cello bags. I use the mini length and I get mine at Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores, but I bet you can find them at any craft store.

featured in BHG Tricks & Treats

I’ve been so very excited about this project for such a long time and now I’m so thrilled to be able to share it with you. I have been a fan of Better Homes and Gardens Tricks and Treats Special Issue for years. I would flip through and ooh and aah at all the fun and crafty ideas.

Well this year I’m so proud to announce that you can find my ideas and designs on pages 50 through 57! Okay. And I have to tell you, you can also see a small image of my cupcake printables on the cover. THE COVER! And again on page 1 as part of the table of contents. Yay! Then yet again on pages 104 – 106 with instructions. WOW! And finally on page 118 in the resources, along with my fabulous cookie partners at Sweet Tooth Cottage. It’s more exciting than I had hoped. You know how you tell yourself not to get too excited about something until it actually happens? That was me. For months now. But now I’m officially over the top excited!

Go out right now and pick one up! Please! I know they’re on shelves at Barnes and Nobles already because I picked up a copy… okay, maybe it was five. Or, if you can’t wait, my article’s name is “Wicked Easy” and you can find tons of details on the Better Homes and Gardens site at bhg.com/wickedeasy. If you like it, I’d love a thumbs up on facebook or a tweet!

But you still need to pick up the mag because it is just full of fabulous ideas from the editors! There’s a Mad Hatter Tea Party that is the perfect twist on Halloween fun. There are kid crafts and lovely black and white party details perfect for an adult soiree. The entire magazine is a must have!

And the best part of this fabulous project, I’m giving away our Candy Corn collection to readers for FREE (the non-personalized version). It includes an invitation, cupcake picks & wrappers, cello toppers, beverage wrappers, favor tags, dessert labels, a pennant banner and more! You can still find the personalized invitations, personalized printables, cookies, and orange and white polka dot table decor in the shoppe.

first day of school jitters

So you guys know that I’ve been having a bit of anxiety about the first day of school. He hasn’t. I have.

Well this morning I packed him up and took him to first grade. I felt like I was giving away my first born. Doesn’t he look so grown up?! I’m so very proud of him. He handled it very well and gave me a simple wave when all the parents were leaving. And now I’m anxiously waiting to hear the “details” when I pick him up this afternoon. This day is sooooo long!

I just pray it all went well and he loved it. And thank goodness preschool doesn’t start back for another two weeks. I don’t think I could do this twice in one day.

Oh, and I was right to obsess over the lunch box. It was ALL about the lunch box this morning. At least with the boys it was. That was the first thing they all shared with each other! And by the way, we went with the Pottery Barn Kids gray dinosaur camoflage lunch box with the hot/cold thermos… which will likely always carry some type of fruit, like melon or apples. He won’t eat them unless they’re cold. {smirk}

I hope all of you are having a fabulous back to school season and don’t forget to download your lunch box notes if you’ve not already!

Happy Tuesday everyone!
