FREE Super Bowl party printables

Hosting a Super Bowl party this year?! Download my wrappers and mini pennant banners, updated from my original Snackpicks.com article, for the two winning teams: NY Giants and New England Patriots. I confirmed that the Giants will be wearing their away white jerseys (white chevron wrappers) and the Patriots will wear their blue jerseys (blue chevron wrappers). You can use them all, or just your favorite team. The set also includes a 11×17 football field mat and a 11×17 green grass chevron mat (great for a backdrop for your stadium).

Crafting the printables is simple. I recommend card stock for the wrappers and pennants, but you can use regular printer paper if you like. Secure the wrapper loosely around a cupcake liner with double sided tape or hot glue and fill the wrappers with snacks. For the pennants, wrap the diamonds around a toothpick and secure with an Elmer’s glue stick.

Next, grab a wire spice rack for your stadium and set up your fans! I chose Cheez-It crackers for my snacks and I picked up my wire rack at Target!

For your convenience, I’ve combined all five sheets into one pdf. When you print, be aware that you’ll want to print sheets one and two, the mats, on 11×17 paper, and sheets three through five, the wrappers and pennants, on 8.5×11 paper.

stadium of Cheez-It fans

For my most recent project with Kellogg’s Snackpicks, I created a fun and simple idea for the upcoming Super Bowl party season. I know what you’re thinking, these aren’t going to be the Super Bowl colors! That’s because this project was created months ago. But now with the game only a few weeks away and with the teams being finalized soon, I’m thinking it might be fun to update these as a little free printable?! {smile} UPDATE: FREE printables are posted!

For the stadium, I just picked up a wire spice rack, filled cupcake liners with my favorite Cheez-Its, there are tons of flavors, wrapped them in these little cups, gave them some pennants and done!

These could be great for all kinds of snacks too. Kellogg’s has these fabulous 100 calorie pack mini cookies that would be a perfect fit. They even have white chocolate covered pretzel hitting the shelves this month and they are super yummy! Confession: I had a bag last night with my evening cup of coffee… and I didn’t even feel guilty about it! {smirk}

Hop over to Kellogg’s Snackpicks for tons of Super Bowl recipes ideas too, like mini chipotle hamberger sliders, bruschetta bites, brownie rainbow pie and more! And no worries, I’ll link the free printables back to this post as soon as they’re ready! UPDATE: FREE printables are posted!

DIY Santa party favors

I had a little DIY fun this past weekend with the boys. We were testing a few ideas for our cookie decorating party favors and we came up with these little Santas.

You’ll need red, black and silver cardstock, cotton balls, pretzel size cello bags, cotton balls, tape, stick glue and candy. I used soft peppermint sticks and red cherry slices.

Punch or cut out a red 2.5″ circle and trim a out a quarter of it like a pacman.

Close the circle and tape it on the inside. Next unroll a cotton ball. Add a small amount of glue to the rim of the hat and to the tip. Edge the hat with the cotton ball and then form a small ball for the top.

Cut strips of black cardstock for the belt and small silver cardstock squares for the buckle. Fill in the center of the buckle with a black thin point Sharpie and attach to the center of the belt with a touch of glue.

Insert the candy, fold the cello over in the back and tape. Wrap the waist with Santa’s belt and top with Santa’s hat, using a small piece of tape to keep both in place.

Waalaa! Fun and super easy Santa party favor idea. As always, I hope you’re inspired to craft, bake and create!
