Two things that are all the rage for baby showers right now are adorable owls and inviting the boys.
Our “owl couple” baby shower invitation is just too cute from dad’s blue wings to mom’s long eyelashes. This trendy invite coupled, no pun intended {wink}, with pink and orange accents makes for a beautiful and bright setting.
As for the boys, yes, we are inviting our men these days and sharing the spotlight. But remember ladies, just because they are on the guest list doesn’t mean that you have to give up all your girly things, but giving them a pass on the games would be nice of you! {giggle}
On the food, I’ve always found that showers, unless an intimate group, is best served by a cocktail station and an appetizer/treat buffet. Just make sure your mommy has some nice sparkling water to sip. And if you do decide to have a few treats in your menu, consider our fun baby bird egg cupcakes and baby themed sugar cookies (tips on flooding). They will have your mom-to-be glowing.
